AboutThe North Face in association with Red Bull, SBC Skier and Mirror invite you to enjoy the finest of the latest and greatest ski movies. The screenings will be held in the fabulous Old Montreal. September 17th: World premiere of "Transitions", a film on Simon Dumont by filmmaker Riley Poor. X-Games gold medalist, Dumont also holds the world Guinness record on quarter Pipe. Don’t miss this red carpet event featuring one of the most acclaimed and renowned skiers. September 20th: Presentation of ‘’The Edge of Never’’, A documentary feature film set in the world of big mountain skiing, The Edge of Never is a real life coming of age saga about the tribe of skiers who challenge the biggest, most dangerous mountains in the world. In 1996 extreme-skiing legend Trevor Petersen was killed in Chamonix, France. Nine years later, skiing icon Glen Plake decides it's time for Trevor's 15-year-old son, Kye, to ski the route that killed his father and join the tribe of big-mountain skiers. In this thrilling film, three generations of skiers mentor Kye as he attempts to finish his father's final run. 17 septembre: Première Mondiale de " Transitions", un film attendu depuis deux ans sur Simon Dumont par le réalisateur Riley Poor. En plus de détenir le record mondial de quarter pipe, Simon Dumont est un champion de ski médaillé aux X- Games. Un événement tapis rouge pour acclamer l'un des skieurs les plus connus de la planète. 20 septembre: Présentation de" The Edge of Never", un documentaire sur le ski en haute montagne ainsi que sur la destinée de Kye Peterson dans la saga entourant la mort de son père, la légende du ski, Trevor Peterson. Neuf ans après, alors âgés de 15 ans, en compagnie de Glen Plake, Kye décide alors de skier la route qui avait été fatale pour son père. Un film touchant sur une histoire vécu regroupant trois générations de skieurs.
