Like a Lion Reggae Party
Cali P
Reggae sensation Cali P, an inspired musician from the percussion-group "Akiyo", was born in 1985 to Swiss mother and a father from the Caribbean island Guadeloupe (Gwada). Raised in Switzerland while living the Rastafarian traditions and knowing his heart belongs to Africa, Cali P's upbringing has allowed him to bridge the gap between first and third world cultures. Cali has performed at numerous venues around the world but it was his close relationship with skiing superstar Tanner Hall brought him into skiing's limelight following his performance at Winter X Games 2008 in Aspen, Colorado. He has also contributed to numerous ski movie soundtracks, including Eric Iberg's groundbreaking film "Idea", along with Tanner Hall films "The Massive" and "Like A Lion". Cali P is a true, inspired and blessed Rasta youth with a positive and righteous message who lives the message he preaches. Anyone who has had the chance to see him perform live can attest to his unique humility and the fire shining from within. Whether taking centre stage with a live band or Black Phantom Sound, Cali P is without a doubt the new reggae dancehall sensation!
